The 2025 RMD Deadline is 12/12/25

The 2025 Required Minimum Distribution deadline is this Friday, and Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company (Atlantic Coast Life) would like to remind you that all paperwork must be complete and in good order, and received no later than Friday, December 12, 2025. Please also take the time to advise your policyholders of this deadline to help ensure a smooth process.

Important requirements and details for 2025 RMDs:  

·     This year’s deadline is December 12, 2025   

·     Atlantic Coast Life will attempt to process paperwork received after December 12th but cannot guarantee it will be completed before the end of the year   

·     All RMD payments will be reported in the year they are processed  

·     Agents can access distribution paperwork on the Agent Portal. Note: policies with riders have specific distribution forms  

·     Distribution paperwork needs to be received in good order 

To ensure proper submission, avoid these common omissions:  

·     Incomplete signatures (if the policy is joint owned, missing non-natural owner titles such as “Trustee”, “POA” or a business title) 

·     Not including a copy of a voided check for systematic withdrawals 

·     Not providing a start date 

·     Requesting a penalty free RMD without the RMD rider on the policy  

·     Missing a tax election

Atlantic Coast Life's Leading MYGA Rates

Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company's (Atlantic Coast Life) Safe Harbor Annuity and Safe Haven Annuity's leading MYGA rates¹ provide new opportunities to support your business and your clients’ retirement financial goals. 

These rates apply to all durations and all states for new business and renewals. The Safe Harbor Annuity 3-year effective-level compound rate is 5.79% in most states and 5-year effective-level compound rate is 5.91% in most states. The Safe Haven Annuity 3-year effective-level compound is 5.78% in most states and 5-year effective-level compound rate is 5.90% in most states.

Please review the following important dates and details regarding these rate changes.   

·     As of Wednesday, July 30th, these new rates will be applied to all new and pending applications.  

·     These new rates will not be applied to in-force policies. In-force policies will continue to receive their current rates.  

·     Please reference the Annuity Rate Sheet before speaking with clients about these rate adjustments.  

·     Updated materials reflecting these changes are available on the Agent Portal.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) How-To Guide

Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company (Atlantic Coast Life) has implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) on the Agent, Policyholder, and Provider Portals to enhance account security. You must complete the MFA process in order to access the portal.

Helpful Tips for Account Access:

·     If you have forgotten your user name or password, you will be required to reset before proceeding with the MFA process

·     Forgot password? Use the "Forgot password" feature on the log in screen 

·     Forgot user name? Contact the Service Center at 1-844-442-3847

·     An up-to-date user name and email address are required to complete the MFA process and avoid any interruption to your account access

·     MFA Verification codes may be sent to your junk or spam folders, and you may need to clear your cache

The MFA Guide below includes screenshots to help you complete the process successfully.
